The Lamb
She always comes out as the bad person.
The person who causes all the trouble, the person who brings hell on earth but she does nothing.
She just sits quietly, in her confined space, accepting all the blame, with tears slowly creeping its’ way out of her eyes, all the way down to her cheeks.
“It’s not my fault” she whispers as she wipes away the tears.
She is always the black sheep in her aunt’s family; never belonged anywhere, always blamed for everything.
Even when something goes wrong in the family, even when no one blames her, she feels responsible for all the wrong doing.
Maybe it’s the way it has to be, you see.
People need someone to blame when life gets shitty.
So, she doesn't mind being that sacrificial lamb.
She has been that lamb for over 18 years, so why not just let everything be the same?
It’s easier anyway.
However, she knows that because of all the pain she has undergone in her life, she knows never to trust anyone and that no matter what, in life, blood in always thicker than water.
And she'll take every pain silently, because
